I entered four songs in the Austin Songwriters Group's Spring 2016 Song Contest a few months back. On Sunday, July 31, I was received three awards: 1st Place - Singer/Songwriter for "Step By Step," 1st Place - Folk Americana for "Real Love" and 1st Place - Places for "Cleveland, Ohio." All three of these songs are on my upcoming album, Step By Step. I was happy and honored to receive these awards, since I worked hard on all of these songs.
